When leadership carries more weight than it was designed to hold.
Deeper Wells Life & Leadership exists to support people, leaders, and institutions navigating seasons of strain, responsibility, and change - without forcing growth before foundations are ready.
Grounded in faith, discernment, and systems-level thinking.

There are seasons when effort alone no longer resolves what is strained.
Responsibility increases. Decisions carry greater consequence. Systems - personal, relational, or organizational - begin to show where they were never designed to carry this much weight.
Sometimes the strain is internal. Sometimes it is systemic. Often, it is both at once.

The Anchored Framework
The Anchored Framework offers a way of understanding how people, relationships, and institutions carry weight over time. It recognizes that strain does not always signal failure; often, it reveals where foundations were never designed to bear this much load.
Rather than focusing on behavior change or performance improvement alone, the framework attends to underlying systems - personal, relational, and organizational - responding at the level where strain is actually occurring.
This approach emphasizes discernment over urgency, cultivating clarity and courage that can be sustained - personally and systemically - over time.
Anchored in:
-
Clarity
-
Courage
-
systems-level integrity

These moments do not require urgency or optimization.
They require orientation, anchoring, and discernment.
Where This Work Is Applied
The Anchored Framework is lived out across different contexts, depending on where strain is being carried and what kind of response is needed.
Personal Formation
This domain attends to intrapersonal and relational strain that cannot be resolved through insight or effort alone. It supports individuals who need grounding, clarity, and integration as they navigate seasons of internal complexity, responsibility, or transition.
Leadership Formation
This work supports those carrying leadership responsibility—formally or informally—where personal strain, relational dynamics, and decision-making pressure intersect. The focus is on cultivating clarity, courage, and capacity that can be sustained within real roles and real consequences.
Institutional & Organizational Health
This domain addresses strain embedded in structures, systems, and shared life. The work engages organizations and institutions navigating misalignment, fracture, transition, or survival—strengthening what must hold over time at the level of governance, culture, and design.
Engagement within each domain is context-specific, not standardized.

How This Work Begins
Because the nature and location of strain matter, this work does not begin with a predefined program or package. It begins with orientation.
Initial conversations are designed to clarify context, capacity, and season — exploring where strain is being carried and what kind of response is actually responsible. In some cases, this leads to personal or leadership formation work. In others, it reveals the need for organizational or institutional engagement. And sometimes, it clarifies that this is not the right moment to proceed.
This process is unhurried and non-obligational. Its purpose is not to secure a commitment, but to ensure that any work undertaken is appropriate, sustainable, and aligned with what must be carried over time.

"Dr. Christensen has been a mentor and coach for me. Being a principal in an urban school district comes with many struggles. She is a genius listener.
